Display Stages
Display stands for shop windows, mannequins and selected products: round and square stages, low stages for torso and sets at several heights that add depth to the display and direct the eye to the important item. A clean and minimalist design that does not compete with clothes, private sale and wholesale for stores, boutiques and chains, with delivery to all over the country.
Why a Showstand Changes a Showroom
A mannequin standing directly on the floor is swallowed up in the space. A stage raises it, separates it from the background and defines a clear "island" of view around it. When you combine several stages of different heights, a natural path of view is created: the eye moves from the high item to the lowest, and the display looks planned rather than like a row of mannequins arranged by height. This is why shop window designers use displaystages in almost any composition, even small windows.
A good stage works together with mannequins and a show: it raises the torso to the line of sight, highlights a full doll in the center of the window and allows shoes, bags and accessories to be displayed alongside the clothes.
Types of Display Stands
Round Stage
Suitable for a single doll in the center of the window or at the entrance to the store. The round shape allows you to look at the doll from all directions, so it is ideal for display in the heart of the store surrounded by customers.
Square and rectangular stage
A wide rectangular stage carries two or three dolls together and is suitable for long shop windows and full-look displays. A square stage easily attaches to a wall or corner and blends in with existing shelves and installations.
Set of stages at several heights
A set of two or three platforms that fit into each other or stand side by side at different heights. It's the most flexible solution: you can build stairs, spread the stages out of the window or use each one separately, and a nested set saves storage space between display switches.
Low stage for torso and display blocks
A low stage or cube raises a torso for a lingerie display, swimwear and sportswear, a display bottom or butt, as well as shoes, bags, and folded products. In a small window, a torso on a low stage is one of the most effective ways to attract attention.
How to choose an exhibition stage: a short guide
Stage height
5-15 cm: For a mannequin full of shop windows. Raise and accentuate without taking the head out of the frame line and the lighting area.
20-40 cm: for torso, bottom, shoes and bags. Lifts the product to the area where the customer looks naturally.
60 cm or above: A high post or podium for accessories, jewelry and bags, or for an upper torso at eye level.
Before choosing, think about the total height: a full mannequin with a height of about 180 cm on a 15 cm platform reaches almost 2 meters. Make sure there is space under the window ceiling, for lighting and signage.
The size of the surface in relation to the base of the doll
The surface should be about 10-15 cm larger than the base of the doll or its stand on each side, so that the doll looks stable and not "on the edge". For one doll, a surface of 50-60 cm is usually enough, and for two dolls, a surface about 100-120 cm wide is recommended.
Load and stability
Check the maximum load of the stage against the total weight of the doll, stand and clothes. A stage with a closed and stable structure, uneven floor leveling legs, and fabrics at the bottom keep the mannequin and the floor safe, especially in a window that opens and is updated frequently.
Material & Finish
Painted wooden and MDF platforms are sturdy, opaque and suitable for full dolls. Transparent acrylic creates the feel of a "floating" product and is mainly suitable for accessories and small products, but scratches easily. Matte finish in white, cream or black shades hides fingerprints and lets clothes take center stage.
Matching the shop window
Measure the width, depth and height of the window before ordering. Leave space between the stage and the glass to avoid reflections and allow access to the dressing, and space from the back for the background and lighting.
How to arrange stages in a shop window
The basic rule is odd number and varying heights: three stages at three heights create a triple composition that looks more natural than two identical stages. Place the important item on the high stage, the complementary items on the low ones, and keep the color palette limited. Mannequin Display Stands for Women, Men and Children
What stage is chosen according to the type of mannequin: full-bodied women's mannequins lean well on a low and wide stage, mannequins for men and especially upper torso get a presence on a medium-height stage, andchildren's mannequins look great on a higher stage, which brings them to the parents' line of sight. Showcases for product photography and online stores
A clean stage in a uniform shade is also a tool for photography. It elevates the doll or product from the floor, allows for a straight shooting angle and gives a uniform background for the entire catalog. Tips for working correctly You will find in the guide to photographing clothes on a mannequin for an online store.

Frequently asked questions
What height of the stage is suitable for a mannequin in a shop window?
For a mannequin full of windows, a low platform of 5-15 cm is usually suitable, which accentuates the doll without taking the head out of the frame. For torsos, bottoms and shoes, a platform of 20-40 cm is suitable, and for accessories and jewelry, a column of 60 cm or more. Before choosing, it is recommended to connect the height of the doll to the level of the stage and make sure that there is space under the ceiling and lighting.
What is the difference between a show stage and a mannequin base?
The base, or stand, holds the mannequin itself and keeps it standing. The display stage is a separate surface on which the mannequin is placed with its base, in order to elevate it, separate it from the floor, and create a composition of different heights. The surface should be about 10-15 cm larger than the base on each side.
How many stages should you put in a shop window and how do you arrange them?
In most windows, an odd number of stages work well, usually three at three different heights. Place the main item on the high stage and the complementary items on the low ones, so that the eye moves between them in the form of a triangle. In a small window, you can make do with one low stage with a torso.
