SKU: 2304000
Product description
A small tube of E6000, the clear industrial adhesive used by jewelers, seamstresses and crafters. 5.3 ml is enough for spot repairs and small jobs, such as gluing stones to a garment, or fixing a piece of jewelry, a buckle or a decoration, without opening a large tube that might dry out.
What makes E6000 adhesive special
E6000 is a multi-purpose industrial adhesive made in the USA. It dries clear and stays flexible, so the bond doesn't crack when the material bends, stretches or cools. After full curing it is water-resistant, holds up through washing and machine drying, and can be painted over. Its working temperature range after curing is from minus 40°C to 82°C.
What it bonds
Wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramic, concrete, leather, rubber, vinyl, fabrics and many plastics. It is not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and Styrofoam, nor for items that come into contact with food, drinking water or animals.
Common uses
Gluing stones, rhinestones and sequins to clothing, shoes and accessories
Repairing jewelry, earrings, brooches and buckles
Gluing decorations to leather, fabric and metal
Small repairs in glass, ceramic and rubber
Who it's for
Seamstresses and designers who add embellishments to clothing, jewelers, crafters, and anyone who wants a small tube for household repairs. For workshops and stores, wholesale prices are available by contacting us.
Professional tips
Surfaces need to be clean, dry and free of grease. On a very smooth surface, it is worth roughening it slightly.
Apply a thin layer, wait about 2 minutes until the adhesive becomes tacky, and press together.
Hold the parts in place while drying. A thin layer dries within 24 hours, and a thick layer needs 48–72 hours for full strength.
Clean adhesive that hasn't dried yet with acetone. Dry adhesive can only be removed by scraping or cutting.
Work in a ventilated space: the adhesive contains solvents and fumes that are best not inhaled.
Common mistakes
Using the garment or jewelry before at least 24 hours have passed.
A layer that is too thick, which greatly lengthens the drying time.
Gluing polyethylene or polypropylene plastic, which the adhesive doesn't grip.
How it differs from the large tube
This is the same E6000 adhesive in a 5.3 ml tube, convenient for precise work and occasional repairs. For regular work, a workshop or a studio, the 109.4 ml tube is more suitable. All the adhesives on the site are gathered in the Glues category.

Frequently asked questions
What is E6000 glue?
A multi-purpose industrial adhesive made in the USA, which dries clear and stays flexible. It bonds leather, fabric, metal, glass, wood, rubber and many plastics.
How long does E6000 glue take to dry?
A thin layer dries within 24 hours, and a thick layer needs 48-72 hours for full strength. The glue becomes tacky about 2 minutes after application.
How do I use E6000 glue?
Clean and dry the surfaces, apply a thin layer, wait about 2 minutes and press together. Clamp the parts and leave to dry for at least 24 hours.
Is E6000 suitable for gluing stones onto a garment?
Yes. The glue stays flexible and holds even after washing and machine drying, so it is commonly used for gluing stones, rhinestones and sequins onto fabric.
Is E6000 waterproof?
Yes, after it has fully cured. Before that, do not expose the bond to water.
Which materials does E6000 not bond?
Polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and foam. It is also not intended for items that come into contact with food or drinking water.
How much glue is in the tube?
5.3 ml. This is a small tube for spot repairs and precise work.
How do I clean up E6000 glue that was spread by mistake?
While the glue is still wet, clean it with acetone. Once it has dried, you can only scrape or cut it off.
Is ventilation needed while working?
Yes. The glue contains solvents, so work in a ventilated space and avoid breathing the fumes.
What is the difference between the small and large tube?
It is the same glue in a different quantity: 5.3 ml versus 109.4 ml. The small tube suits occasional repairs, and the large one suits regular studio work.
