Product description
Shoe Goo is a flexible adhesive and sealant for shoe repair, made in the USA. It reattaches a sole that has come apart, rebuilds a worn heel or sole, and coats areas that wear out fast. After drying it stays flexible like rubber, so the repair bends with the shoe and doesn't crack.
How Shoe Goo differs from regular glue
An instant adhesive creates a thin, rigid layer. Shoe Goo is thick and elastic, so it both glues and fills: you can use it to rebuild a worn sole edge, seal a seam and coat a friction area. It is waterproof right after application, and after drying works in a range between minus 40°C and 66°C.
Common uses
Gluing a sole that has come off the shoe
Rebuilding worn heels and soles
Sealing rubber boots and rain boots
Protective coating for areas that wear out, such as the toe of skate shoes
Fixing an insole that has shifted and repairing small tears in leather, rubber, vinyl and canvas
Who it's for
Cobblers, shoe stores, skateboarders and anyone who wants to extend the life of their shoes. For businesses and quantity orders, wholesale prices are available by contacting us.
Professional tips
Clean and dry the surface, and roughen it slightly for a better grip.
Open the tube with the nozzle on the cap, without squeezing it hard.
Apply to both surfaces, wait about 2 minutes and press together firmly.
Leave 24 hours to dry. A thick layer reaches full strength after 48–72 hours.
Apply a little petroleum jelly to the tube threads before closing, so it opens easily next time.
Common mistakes
Wearing the shoe before 24 hours have passed.
Applying to a dusty or wet surface.
Using on Styrofoam, polyethylene or polypropylene, which the adhesive doesn't grip.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What is Shoe Goo glue used for?
For shoe repair: gluing a sole that has come apart, rebuilding worn heels and soles, sealing rubber boots and a protective coating for areas that wear down.
How long does Shoe Goo take to dry?
24 hours. A thick layer reaches full strength after 48-72 hours. The glue becomes tacky 2-3 minutes after application.
How do I glue a sole with Shoe Goo?
Clean and roughen both surfaces, apply glue to both, wait about 2 minutes and press together firmly. Clamp and leave for 24 hours.
Is Shoe Goo waterproof?
Yes. It is waterproof right after application, so it is also used for sealing rubber boots.
Does the repair stay flexible?
Yes. After drying, Shoe Goo stays elastic like rubber, so it bends with the shoe and doesn't crack.
Which materials is Shoe Goo suitable for?
Leather, rubber, vinyl and canvas. It is not suitable for foam, polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene and paper.
Can I rebuild a worn heel with it?
Yes. Apply layers over the worn area and let each layer dry. That is how you rebuild the edge that has worn down.
What is the difference between Shoe Goo and instant shoe glue?
Shoe Goo is thick and flexible and dries within 24 hours, and suits building up and sealing. Instant glue hardens in seconds and suits a quick spot repair.

While it is still wet, clean it with acetone. After drying, you can only scrape or cut it off.
