Lingrie Tape
Lingerie Tape – Double-Sided Body and Clothing Tape in a Dispenser
In stock
SKU: 9252
Product description
Clear double-sided tape for fixing clothes to the body and fabric to fabric. It holds a plunging neckline in place, keeps a blouse from gaping between the buttons, and secures a strapless dress or a strap that tends to shift. The tape comes in a compact dispenser with a cutting edge, so you can cut a strip to the length you want and use it at home or on the go.
How double-sided clothing tape works
One side of the tape sticks to the skin and the other side to the fabric, or both sides to two layers of fabric. That way the garment stays where you placed it, with no pins and no stitching. The crack-n-peel text on the packaging describes the protective layer: you fold it slightly and it peels off easily.
Common uses
Securing a deep neckline and wrap dresses

Cut short strips, and use several strips along the neckline instead of one long strip.
On delicate fabrics such as silk and velvet, test first on a hidden area.
Remove slowly and gently, parallel to the skin.
Common mistakes
Applying to skin with cream or sweat, which weakens the hold.
Pulling the tape off the skin quickly.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What is double-sided garment tape used for?
For fixing garments to the body and fabric to fabric: necklines, shirts that gap between the buttons, strapless dresses and straps that move.
How do I use the tape?
Cut a strip with the dispenser, peel off one side and stick it to the fabric, then peel off the other side and press it onto clean, dry skin.
Is the tape visible under the garment?
The tape is clear and attached under the fabric, so it is not visible when the garment is in place.
What leather can it be glued to?
On clean, dry leather, with no cream, oil or perfume in the area. These weaken the grip.
Is the tape suitable for delicate fabrics?
With fabrics such as silk and velvet, test first on a hidden area, because some delicate fabrics may be damaged.
How do I remove the tape from the skin?
Slowly and gently, parallel to the skin and not with a sharp upward motion.
Can the same strip be used twice?
No. After removal the glue loses its grip, so cut a new strip each time.
What is crack-n-peel?
The protective layer of the tape. You fold it slightly and it cracks and peels off easily, without searching for the edge.
Is the tape suitable for fashion photography?
Yes. Stylists use it to hold a garment in place on a body or display mannequin during a shoot.
Can I order the tape in bulk for a store?
Yes. Stores, bridal salons and stylists can get wholesale prices by contacting us.
