Product description
Aristo 32.5 cm Triangle Ruler with Wooden Handle
An original ARISTO drawing triangle, made of transparent plexiglass made in Austria, with an overweight of 32.5 cm and a wooden handle for holding. This is the largest size in Aristo's series of drawing triangles. In the world of sewing, it is simply called the "Aristo Bar": a straight-angled and equilateral triangle, with a 10 mm grid, an angle gauge and millimeter years, which replaces several tools on the cutting table.
The markings are stamped deep into the material and are not worn out by friction with paper and fabric. The ogonmeter is highlighted on a yellow background, so it is easy to read even on white cut-out paper. The long permit allows you to draw a line of 30 cm or more in one movement, without moving the ruler in the middle.
What's on the bar
Over-phase: A beveled tip along the millimeter scale, which allows you to guide a pencil close to the line and draw accurately.
Ink bumps: Small dots on the back of the ruler that lift it slightly off the paper, so that a pen or marker doesn't smear under the edge.
A 10 mm grid on the entire surface, and millimeter years that stand for the rest, to draw parallel lines at a fixed distance.
Marked angles: 7° and 42° for perspective drawing, 75° for beveled writing, and 45° lines for shading.
A wooden handle that keeps your fingers away from the line and gives uniform pressure throughout.
Common Uses
Building a frame for a base cut: a front midline, a waistline and a hip line that are perpendicular to each other.
Marking a 45° diagonal line for diagonal shear (bias) and bias tape strips.
Adding seam addition and product lines parallel to the seam line, with the help of the mesh.
Marking a thread line, i.e. the direction of the length of the fabric, on the parts of the cutout.
Measuring angles of shoulder line, headlights and collar ends on the odometer.
Technical, architectural and graphic drawing on a drawing table.
Who is it suitable for
Fashion designers, carpenters and fashion designers who build full-size cuts, fashion design and architecture students, professional seamstresses, tailors and fashion schools. The size of 32.5 cm is especially comfortable on a wide cut-out table. For wholesale order to school, studio or store: phone 03-9444226 or WhatsApp 055-2473993.
Pro Tips
To a precise perpendicular line, one of the grid lines is aligned on the existing line, and the line is drawn along the side that is perpendicular to it.
To the BAS line are attached one perpendicular to the wire line. The rest then gives an angle of exactly 45°.
With a pencil, you draw next to the paza. With a marker or a drawing pen, you work only on paper, and the bumps keep the ink from smearing.
For long lines, such as the side line of a dress or coat, slide the triangle along a long straight bar and get parallel lines.
Clean with mild soap and water. Alcohol and solvents can form thin cracks in Plexiglas.
Common mistakes
Cut with a round knife or Japanese knife along the triangle. The blade slits the edge, and the line loses its straightness.
Placing the ruler near a hot iron. Twisted Heat Plexiglas.
A straight corner "in the eye". A deviation of one degree in the corner creates almost an inch of difference at the end of a line of 50 cm.
Storage under heavy utensils. A flat or hanging drawer is preferable.
How this bar is different
The site has three drawing triangles with a handle, the largest of which is 32.5 cm, a wooden handle and an over-edged one. The 25 cm ARISTO triangle is smaller, with a removable yellow handle and a fez on the three sides, and is suitable for a bag and a small table. The 22.5 cm drawing triangle with the red marking is the compact and basic. The triangular ruler for building 49 cm long cuts is another tool: a curve bar for imagery, not a drawing triangle.
All triangles and angle bars are in anglebars. For armpit curves, neckline and side line see curved bars, and for cutting fabric with a round knife cutting and quilting bars.
