Product description
Women's lower display form: from the waist to the thigh, without giving up length
When the item ends at the thigh, for example a biker short, shorts, women's boxers or swimwear with a short bottom, a short display hip form isn't enough. The fabric needs room to fall, and the shopper needs to see where the item ends. This model covers the body from the waistline, including the navel, to mid-thigh, so every lower-body item is displayed on it at its full length and in the line where it sits on the body.
The form is made of rigid foamed plastic: it is easy to lift and move and still keeps a stable shape. The finish is smooth and the shade is natural skin tone, and the sculpting includes a defined waist, full hips and rounded buttocks. Its height is 46 cm and the hip circumference 90 cm, close to the measurements of an adult woman, so the garment stretches on it naturally and doesn't look loose.
The natural shade imitates skin, so light-colored clothes, semi-sheer lace and mesh fabrics look on it as they will look on the body. The form stands on its own on the cut of the thighs, with no base and no pole.
Common uses
Underwear: Panties in all cuts, women's boxers, high-waisted briefs and shapewear down to the thigh.
Swimwear: The bottom of a bikini, swim shorts and short swim skirts.
Sports: Biker shorts, short leggings, running shorts and yoga shorts.
Short fashion: Shorts and fitted mini skirts.
Product photography: Shooting from the front, side and back for a website and social media, without a model.
Display in a row: Several forms on one shelf show a full series of colors of the same item.
Who the form is for
Lingerie stores use it for panties and shapewear where the length and cut at the thigh are part of the decision. Sports and athleisure stores display biker shorts and short leggings on it, which look cut off on a display hip form. Swimwear stores use it for bottoms and swim shorts. Online stores and studios also use it for consistent photography. For stores that display several units on a shelf, we supply quantities directly from the import, with personal service.
Professional tips
Dressing
Pull the item from the bottom upward, leg by leg over the hips, and straighten the waistline above or below the navel according to the item's cut. For leggings and biker shorts it is worth smoothing the fabric downward over the thigh, so the hem looks straight.
Placement angle
For underwear with a rear design, such as Brazilian or thong, it is worth placing the form at an angle of about 45 degrees to the customer. That way you see both the front and the back at once.
Raising on a shelf
At a height of 46 cm the form suits a shelf at eye level or a counter. On the floor or at the bottom of a display case it is worth raising it on a cube, so the item can be seen from a distance too.
Cleaning
It is enough to wipe with a soft, damp cloth with a little mild soap. Don't use abrasive materials or solvents, which may damage the finish and the shade.
Common mistakes
Displaying long pants on it. The form ends at mid-thigh, so full-length pants and leggings will hang off it. It suits only items that end at the thigh.
Pushing pins into it. This is a display form and not a dress form. It isn't meant for pinning and fitting patterns.
Choosing a display hip form for items with a leg. A biker short or boxer on a short hip form will look cut off. For items that go down to the thigh, a form with thighs like this one is suitable.
Dressing a size that is too wide. With a hip circumference of 90 cm an item in a large size will look loose. It is worth keeping one fixed size for display that fits the circumference.
Lower body form with thighs or a display hip form?
The series has two types of forms for the lower half of the body. This model is taller (46 cm, hip circumference 90 cm) and includes the thighs to their middle, so it suits any item that goes down to the thigh: biker shorts, shorts, boxers and swim shorts. The display hip form is lower and more compact (38 cm, circumference 79 cm), comes in natural skin tone and in pink, and suits only underwear and bikini bottoms. When the item includes a leg, this is the suitable model.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions of the women's lower-body display form?
The form is 46 cm high and the hip circumference is 90 cm. It covers the body from the waistline to mid-thigh.
What is the form made of?
The form is made of rigid foam plastic in a natural skin tone and a smooth finish. The material is easy to lift and move, keeps a stable shape and is cleaned with a damp cloth.
Which items can be displayed on the form?
The form suits any item that ends at mid-thigh: underwear, women's boxers, shapewear, bikini bottoms, swim trunks, bike shorts, short leggings and shorts. Long pants will not display properly on it.
What is the difference between this form and the display hip form?
The difference is in length and circumference: this form is 46 cm high, with a hip circumference of 90 cm, and includes the thighs down to their middle. The display hip form is 38 cm high with a circumference of 79 cm and suits panties only. For items with a leg, such as boy shorts or boxers, the form with thighs is suitable.
Does the form need a base or a stand?
No. The form stands on its own on the cut of the hips and is placed directly on a shelf, a counter or inside a display case, as long as the surface is flat and stable.
What clothing size suits a form with a hip circumference of 90 cm?
A hip circumference of 90 cm approximately suits sizes S to M in swimwear, underwear and leggings. It is recommended to measure one item from the collection before ordering several forms.
Can the form be used for product photography?
Yes. The natural tone and the smooth finish give the item the shape of a body in the photo, without a whole mannequin distracting. Shoot against a plain background.
How do I keep the form from moving on the shelf?
Stand it on a flat, stable surface, away from the edge of the shelf. In a shop window, you can place a thin, rough surface under it that prevents slipping.
How do you clean the form?
A soft, damp cloth with a little mild soap. Don't use abrasives or solvents, which may damage the finish.
Can I order several forms for a store?
Yes. In a swimwear or underwear display it's common to place several identical forms in a row. For orders in quantity you can contact us.
