Product description

Prym Soft Steel Pins, 500 g Pack

Straight Prym pins, 26 mm long and 0.65 mm thick, made of soft steel in a silver tone, with a small metal head. Soft steel bends easily, so these pins are especially suited to craft work, decoration and pinning where the pin stays in place. They are not stainless steel.

Common uses

  • Craft and decoration work, including pinning into foam and cork.

  • Attaching ribbons, fabrics and decorations to a base.

  • Flower arrangements and event decorations.

  • Marking and pinning in sewing, on light and medium fabrics.

  • Attaching fabric to sets and displays.

Who it is for

Craft teachers and kindergartens, event and floral designers, set and display studios, and seamstresses who need a short pin in quantity. For wholesale orders: phone 03-9444226 or WhatsApp 055-2473993.

Professional tips

  • Push straight into foam and cork. The soft pin bends if you push it at an angle.

  • When a pin bends, replace it. There is no point in straightening it.

  • Keep the package in a dry place.

Common mistakes

  • Using soft pins on dense, thick fabrics. They bend.

  • Leaving pins in damp fabric.

How this model differs

These are short pins made of soft steel. For professional sewing and repeated pinning, Prym hardened steel pins 34×0.60 mm are more suitable. All types are at Steel Sewing Pins.
