Product description
Adhesive sprays the adhesive in the form of thin webs and not as a mist. The webs rest on the surface and create a uniform adhesive net, so the adhesive isn't absorbed into absorbent materials such as foam, fabric and felt. This is the spray for upholstery work, for gluing foam to wood or fabric, and for any bonding where it's important that the adhesive not seep through to the visible side of the fabric.
How a web spray adhesive works
A regular spray adhesive disperses tiny droplets, and in an absorbent material they get swallowed inside. In a the adhesive comes out in thin strands and stays on the surface of the material, so the bond forms between the surfaces and not within them. Shake well, spray both surfaces from a distance of about 30 cm, wait about 20 seconds and press together with light pressure.
Common uses

Professional tips
Spray in a continuous motion and an even layer. A thick layer doesn't strengthen the bond, it only lengthens the drying.
With soft foam, one layer on each side is enough. With heavy or stretched materials, add a second layer after the first has dried.
Cover the work area with paper, because the webs fly past the edge of the surface.
Work in a ventilated space, away from flame and heat.
Common mistakes
Spraying too close, which creates adhesive blotches instead of a uniform net.
Pressing together immediately after spraying, without waiting about 20 seconds, which weakens the bond.
Spraying only one side when gluing heavy materials.
How it differs from other spray adhesives
Spray 2000 sprays a fine mist and is intended for permanent, strong bonding of surfaces, and spray is intended for temporarily fixing fabric during cutting and marking. The This is the choice when gluing foam or an absorbent material and you want the adhesive to stay on the surface. All the adhesives on the site are gathered in the Glues category.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Which materials can the spray be applied to?
Foam, fabric, felt, leather, cardboard, rubber, wood, metal and various types of plastic. With a new material, it is worth testing first on a remnant.
Does the spray stain the fabric?
The threads stay on the surface and aren't absorbed inside, so the glue doesn't seep through to the visible side of the fabric. With especially thin or light fabric, test first on a small piece.
How long should I wait before joining the pieces?
About 20 seconds after spraying. Joining too early weakens the bond.
From what distance do you spray?
From about 30 cm. Spraying from close up creates thick blobs of glue instead of an even web.
Can it be used to glue foam to wood?
Yes. This is one of its main uses, for example in chairs, sofas and headboards. Spray the foam and the wood and press together after about 20 seconds.
How many coats of glue do I need?
One coat on each surface is enough for most work. For heavy or stretched materials, add a second coat after the first has dried.
Can I order the spray in bulk for a business?
Yes. We are direct importers, and upholstery shops, studios and businesses can get wholesale prices by contacting us.
