Product description
A garment cover that lets the garment breathe
The garment cover is made of non-woven fabric (Non-Woven), a stable material that's pleasant to the touch. Unlike the thin plastic bag that comes from the dry cleaner, the fabric allows air passage. This way the garment is protected from dust, dirt and rubbing, without moisture trapped around it. This matters especially for garments stored for months between uses: suits, evening dresses, coats and occasion wear.
The cover opens with a central full-length zipper, so you put the garment in and take it out without crushing it and without pulling it from above. At the top there is a hanger opening that suits most types of hangers, and on the front there is a clear external pocket for small accessories such as a tie, a belt, spare buttons or an identification note. You can see what's in the pocket without opening the cover.
All the models are 60 cm wide, and come in six lengths: 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. You can choose white or black.
Which length suits which garment
The simple rule: measure the garment while it hangs on the hanger, from the shoulder edge to the bottom edge, and choose the next length up. This leaves room for the hanger's hook and for the bottom.
60×80 cm - shirts, button-down shirts, sets and children's clothing
60×100 cm - a suit (jacket and trousers folded on the same hanger), blazer, short jacket
60×120 cm - short dresses, long jackets, short coats
60×140 cm - midi dresses, knee-length coats, long skirts on a hanger
60×160 cm - long dresses, long coats, trench coats
60×180 cm - evening dresses and maxi dresses, galabiyas and extra-long garments
Common uses
Storage at home - seasonal garments, suits and dresses worn a few times a year
Transfer and travel - take an ironed garment to an event, the office or a flight, and it arrives clean
Fashion stores and boutiques - protecting expensive garments in the stockroom and items ordered and waiting for the customer
Designers and workshops - handing a finished garment to a client and keeping an item between fittings
Garment and costume rental - marking and sorting by size and name, using the clear pocket
Laundries and dry cleaners - a reusable replacement for the disposable bag

Professional tips
Put only a clean, completely dry garment in the cover. A small stain or moisture left in the fabric sets over time
Take the garment out of the dry cleaner's plastic bag before putting it in the cover
A wide hanger with rounded shoulders preserves the shape of a jacket better than a thin wire hanger
Leave a gap between covers in the closet so air passes between them
For garments kept over a long time, it's worth opening the cover every few months and airing
In a business: put a card with the customer's name, size and handover date in the clear pocket, so you don't need to open covers to search
White or black: white is bright and suits studios and display. Black hides dust and signs of repeated use, and looks especially distinguished with suits
Common mistakes
Keeping in a plastic bag - plastic traps moisture, and over time it may cause stains, yellowing and a smell of mold. Non-woven fabric breathes
A cover too short - when the bottom of the garment is folded inside the cover, wrinkles form. It's better to go one length above the exact size
A flat cover for a voluminous dress - the cover is flat and 60 cm wide. It suits most dresses, but a wedding dress with a full skirt or a petticoat requires a cover with extra width at the sides
Cramming in the closet - even a good cover doesn't prevent wrinkles if the garments are crowded against each other

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What garment cover length suits a suit and which suits an evening dress?
A 60×100 cm cover suits a suit: it holds a jacket and pants folded on the same hanger. For a long evening dress, 60×180 cm is suitable, and for a midi dress 60×140 cm. To choose, measure the garment hanging from the shoulder to the bottom edge, and choose the next length up.
What is the garment cover made of?
The cover is made of Non-Woven fabric. This is a stable material that allows air to pass through, so it protects the garment from dust and dirt without trapping moisture like a nylon bag.
Can a garment be kept in the cover for a long time?
Yes. Non-woven fabric suits long storage because it breathes. Put in only a clean, completely dry garment, leave a gap between covers in the closet, and air out the garment every few months.
What is the clear pocket on the cover used for?
The clear outer pocket is intended for small accessories such as a tie, a belt or spare buttons, and also for an identification card with a name, size and date. You see what is in it without opening the zipper and without exposing the garment.
Can I order garment covers in bulk for a store, a sewing workshop or a rental business?
Yes. HaBayit LaBubot (the House of Dress Forms and Display Mannequins) is a direct importer and also sells wholesale. You can combine several lengths and two colors in the same order. For business orders, contact us by phone at 03-9444226 or on WhatsApp at 055-2473993.
What is the difference between the black and the white cover?
Black does not show dirt and suits suit stores and evening wear. White gives a clean, bright look and is common in bridal salons.
Is the cover suitable for all types of hangers?
The top opening suits most types of hangers, from wooden hangers to plastic and metal hangers.
Which size suits shirts and children's clothes?
The 60×80 cm size suits shirts, short jackets and children's clothes. For a suit with pants folded on the hanger, the 100 or 120 cm size is suitable.
Why is a breathable fabric cover better than the laundry's plastic bag?
The laundry's plastic bag is meant for carrying the garment home. In long-term storage it traps moisture, and may cause odor and yellowing of the fabric. A non-woven cover breathes and protects from dust, so it suits long-term storage.
How do I clean the cover?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, and let it dry completely before putting a garment in it.
