Product description
A non-woven garment cover: breathable protection for clothes that hang for a long time
A non-woven garment cover is meant for clothes that hang on a hanger for a long period: suits, dresses, coats and event clothes. The fabric is made of compressed, non-woven fibers, so it stops dust and dirt and still lets air pass through. That is the essential difference from a plastic bag: in sealed plastic, moisture is trapped, and over time it may cause a mildew smell, stains and yellowing of light fabrics.
All the sizes in this model are a uniform width of 60 cm, in six lengths: 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. That way you can match a cover to every garment in the closet or stockroom, instead of settling for one size that is too long for a short garment and too short for a long one.
Structure of the cover
Central zipper along the whole length - Opens fully from top to bottom. You put the garment in and take it out without folding and without dragging the fabric.
Top hanger opening - The head of the hanger sticks out, the cover hangs directly on the rod, and the garment keeps the shape of its shoulders.
Clear window with a pocket - You can put a note with the client's name, size or date in the pocket, and keep small items in it such as spare buttons, a tie or a thin belt.
Non-woven fabric weighing 80-90 g per sq m - Light to hang and carry, and durable for repeated use.
Black or white
The black cover blocks light and hides the garment completely. It suits long-term storage and clothes in dark colors, and dirt shows less on it in transit and in deliveries. The white cover gives a clean, bright look, suited to bridal dress boutiques and to handing over to a client.
How this model differs from other covers on the site
This model comes in six lengths, with an ID window and a pocket, and is meant for garments that lie flat on a hanger. For wedding dresses and evening dresses with a full skirt, it is better to choose a cover with side depth. A flat cover compresses the volume and wrinkles the layers.
Common uses
Seasonal closet storage - Coats, wool suits and evening dresses that aren't worn for many months.
Handing a garment to a client - A repaired or custom-sewn garment that leaves the studio protected and identified.
Transport between events - A groom's suit, an evening dress or a performance costume, in a car or on a trip.
Hanging stock in a store and stockroom - Expensive or delicate items on a hanging rod, protected from dust until sold.
Closet organization - The uniform cover and the window tidy a crowded closet and let you identify each garment at a glance.
Who it's for
Bridal and evening dress boutiques - Storage between fittings and a dignified handover to the client.
Seamstresses, tailors and designers - A garment that is ready for pickup stays clean and labeled until the client arrives.
Laundries and dry cleaners - A reusable alternative to the plastic bag.
Fashion and suit stores - Keeping hanging stock and a tidy look behind the counter.
Theaters, productions and photographers - Organizing costumes by character or scene, with a note in the window.
Private customers - Those who want to preserve a suit, coat or dress for years.

Professional tips for choosing and using
How to choose a length
Hang the garment on its hanger and measure from the top of the hanger to the hem of the garment. Add 10-15 cm of allowance to the result. That way the hem isn't crammed into the bottom of the cover and doesn't fold. As a general guideline:
60×80 - Shirts, vests, short jackets and children's clothes.
60×100 - Suit jacket, blazer, button-up shirt and short dress.
60×120 - A full suit (jacket and pants folded on the same hanger). This is the common size for suits.
60×140 - A midi dress, a knee-length coat and a long skirt on a hanger.
60×160 - A long coat and a medium-length maxi dress.
60×180 - A long evening dress, a cape and a full-length coat.
Before closing the zipper
Put only a clean, completely dry garment in the cover. Stains and moisture that are sealed inside set over time.
Pass the head of the hanger through the top opening before closing, not after.
Close the zipper slowly and hold the fabric inward with one hand, especially for dresses with chiffon, tulle or sequins.
Leave a gap between covers on the hanging rod, so the air continues to flow.
Common mistakes
Leaving the garment in the laundry's plastic bag - The bag is meant for short transport, not for storage. For long-term storage, move it to a breathable fabric cover.
Choosing a cover that is too short - The hem of the dress or coat folds at the bottom and a crease forms that is hard to remove. It is better to go one length up.
Cramming several garments into one cover - The zipper strains, and the clothes get pressed and wrinkled. One cover per garment, or at most a suit with a shirt.
Relying on the cover for rain protection - Non-woven fabric protects from dust and dirt, but is not waterproof. When transporting in the rain, add an outer layer.
Machine-washing or ironing the cover - Clean non-woven fabric by wiping with a damp cloth. High heat damages the fibers.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Which cover size suits a suit?
60×120 cm is the size that suits most suits - a jacket and pants folded on the same hanger. For a jacket only, 60×100 cm is enough, and for a long coat or an evening dress, it is worth choosing 60×160 or 60×180 cm. The rule: measure from the top of the hanger to the hem of the garment and add 10-15 cm.
What are the garment covers made of?
The cover is made of Non-Woven fabric weighing 80-90 g per sq m. This is a breathable fabric that stops dust and dirt and lets air pass through, so it is more suitable for long-term storage than a sealed nylon bag.
Does the cover protect the garment from water and moisture?
Not completely. The cover protects from dust, dirt and light, and the fabric's ventilation reduces moisture buildup in the closet. It is not waterproof, so when transporting in the rain it is recommended to add an outer layer. Before storage, make sure the garment is completely dry.
What is the difference between the black and the white cover?
The black cover is opaque and hides the garment completely, so it suits long-term storage and transport. The white cover gives a light, clean look that suits bridal boutiques and handing over to a customer. In both colors the structure is the same: a central zipper, a hanger opening and an ID window with a pocket.
Can I order covers in bulk for a store or studio?
Yes. The covers are sold individually and also in bulk orders for boutiques, laundries, tailors and fashion stores, and you can combine several sizes in the same order. For a wholesale quote, contact us by phone at 03-9444226, on WhatsApp at 055-2473993 or by email at habayt.labuvot@gmail.com.
Which size suits a long evening gown?
For an evening or maxi gown, a size of 60×160 or 60×180 cm is suitable. It's worth measuring the garment while it hangs on a hanger, from the hook to the hem, and choosing a cover a few centimeters longer.
What is the clear window with the pocket used for?
You put a card with the customer's name or the garment's details in the pocket, and see it without opening the cover. This is convenient at a dry cleaner, in a salon and in a store.
How thick is the cover's fabric?
The fabric weighs 80 to 90 g per square meter. It protects from dust and abrasion, and stays light and breathable.
Why is a breathable fabric cover better than the laundry's nylon bag?
The laundry's nylon bag is intended for carrying the garment home. In long-term storage it traps moisture, and may cause a smell and yellowing of the fabric. A cover made of breathable non-woven fabric protects from dust, so it suits long-term storage.
How do I clean the cover?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, and let it dry completely before putting a garment in it.
