Prym Safety Pin 19 mm
The smallest pin in the Prym safety pin range. At 19 mm it is almost invisible on the garment, leaves a tiny hole, and holds a note, label or bra strap without weighing down the fabric. The pins come in a Prym box of 1000 and are sold individually or by the full box.
A safety pin is made from a single piece of metal wire: an arm with a point, a spring coil and a cap in which the point locks. On Prym pins the cap has no sharp edges, the point is polished and the spring is balanced, so the pin closes easily and stays closed.

Pro tips
On thin fabric, pin inside the seam allowance or through the sewn-in label, so the hole is not visible on the right side.
For bulk tagging, open one box next to your station and return the pins to the box, not to the table.
Remove the pin before washing. Metal left on wet fabric for a long time can leave a stain.
Common mistakes
Using a 19 mm pin on thick layers. The pin will not close or open under pressure.
Pinning through lace or mesh instead of the adjacent seam. The pin tears the delicate threads.
